Our Story
Archie’s Collection was born out of a real need to help women stand out in confidence and find a converging point where their body shape and their youthful personalities can shine. While in College in the US, Angela was exposed to different social circles, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds, with people admiring her African clothes and designs. She made it a habit to always look her best in her favourite African print outfits. Not only did she stand out in her clothes, but many people also admired the way that the clothing blended colours and fabric textures to compliment her skin tone and complexion.
Even more admirable was how the same outfit could stand out as a casual, formal or semi-formal outfit. Angela decided to share her passion for fashion with the world through the birth of Archie’s Collection.
As a fashion enthusiast, she chose Batik. Batik with natural dye is eco-friendly, and its handmade feature makes it almost impossible to replicate the same designs. This eclectic collection works with hand-made batik and a heterogeneous combination of fabrics like satin and organza.
Five percent of Archie’s Collection’s profit will directly support orphans in memory of her mother who sadly passed during the birth of the company.
